The Human Resources Manager will manage the Human Resources staff and will plan, develop, recommend, and implement human resources activities, policies, procedures, and programs for the organization, assisting upper management as requested. Collaborates with the VP, Human Resources on HR strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements and administers effective programs spanning the breadth of the HR function, with focus on HCM, talent, and performance management, change management, employee relations, recruiting, total rewards, EEO, training& development, and state/fed employment regulations.
  • Serving as a partner and resource to business leadership and HR to ensure continuous communication, collaboration, and connectivity across the organization.
  • Direct leadership and supervision of HR personnel, including hiring, training, performance management and development.
  • Plans, participates in, and evaluates special projects requiring coordination of activities across departmental and functional lines.
  • Provides leadership and oversight for the investigation and resolution of employee relations matters.

Pay: $110,000-$120,000

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field. PHR or
    SHRM-CP preferred.
  • 3-5 years of broad Human Resources experience, preferably with a dispersed workforce.
  • Trucking or Logistics Industry experience a plus.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience of exempt and non-exempt
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to partner and build relationships with executive leadership, managers, and all levels of coworkers.
  • Demonstrated Business Acumen as represented by financial or HR analysis and decision support.
  • Authentic individual with impeccable integrity, whose personal and professional values are consistent with Hansen & Adkins’ mission, vision, and leadership framework.
  • Servant leader who puts the interests of the broader team and organization’s goals ahead of their own personal agenda.
  • Performance-driven individual who is critical thinker with a metrics- driven approach to all solutions.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks with composure.
  • Current knowledge of State and Federal legal regulations and practices for HR.
  • Must be able to travel to job sites and other locations as required, <10%
