We are currently seeking to fill a Fleet Maintenance Manager in our Smyrna, TN terminal. The Fleet Maintenance Manager will report to our Regional Maintenance Manager.

The Fleet Maintenance Manager will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the Preventative Maintenance Program per company and DOT guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of mechanics
- Ensure safe work methods are followed at all times.
- Schedule and direct workflow through shop.
- Ensure a high level of employee productivity.
- Maintain and balance inventories.
- Accurately record vehicle history.
- Perform quality inspections/audits on trucks and trailers.
- Assist technicians with difficult repairs.

Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5-year experience in managing a heavy-duty truck repair shop.
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of communication with management, coworkers, and suppliers.
- Ability to delegate work and manage his/her own and other’s productivity.
- Proven track record of success in leadership, organizational skills and time management.
Education:
- Minimum - High School diploma
- Preferred – Vocational and/or Specialized Training with heavy duty truck repair.
